Life is a series of ups and downs; balance and imbalance. We are moved by the assertiveness, and driving forward action that is Yang; and we are caressed, soothed, & nurtured by the receptiveness that is Yin. Heat vs. Cool; Fire vs. Water. It is not always easy to maintain balance, and in a world that is predominantly run & saturated by the forces of yang, it is our duty to ensure that we bring equanimity to the body and mind through mindful practices such as yoga or meditation.
Balanced Freedom is geared to re-calibrate the body, and liberate the heart and soul through long-held seated poses combined with supported, restorative Asana. The practitioner will move from points of edge to moments filled with great relaxation, all while deepening their connection to source and themselves. Access to balance will not only be provided through a physical practice, but also through a deep, mentally reflective journey through the energetic system in the body, know as the Chakras. This is a two-part workshop, designed to ignite and instill lasting change. In the first part of the series, we will address Chakras 1-4; examining how our roots, our emotions and lost power have created barriers to Love. In the second part of the series Chakras 4-7 will be looked at; bringing together the self-awareness and understanding developed in Part 1, and merging it with the awakened heart, the voice of will, intuitive resonance and the convergence of the I AM essence with the true self.
Occurring over the span of two consecutive weeks, this workshop will raise the bar in internal as well as external evolution as we become more aware of how our external world is merely a reflection of our internal world; and arriving at deep understanding that we alone are the ones to change what we do not like. Beyond the immense physical benefits Balanced Freedom will provide, the student can expect to leave feeling emotionally, mentally and spiritually grounded, with a sense of peace and purpose emanating from within his/her heart and soul. This practice is not only recommended for those who wish to propel themselves further into their growth, but also for those who are working with limited range of motion within the body, tend to gravitate towards yang/flowing practices, and are trying to combat high levels of stress and anxiety. All levels of practice are welcome. Please bring one blanket, as well as a journal and pen. * between sessions students will be given homework and two take-home sequences to continue self reflection and ensure the Chakra energy channel remains open.

Meditation leads us not only to totally new inner experiences, but helps us also to transform our day-to-day life into a more intentional and fulfilling existence.
This workshop will explore the fundamentals and evolving factors of Meditation, discussion and guided meditation. Please bring a notebook and pen, a meditation pillow/blanket and all your inquiry!
This workshop will leave you with a map to create your own meditation practice and tap into your abundant energy within.

There will be four (4) sessions over four (4) weeks for each level where you will build on skills learned in the previous session, in addition, you will also receive a home program to be practiced dailybetween sessions and direct access to me via phone/email for all four (4) weeks. Each level is four (4) weeks long and run consecutively for a total of eight (8) weeks.
Participants typically experience a 50-90% reduction in pain at the end of 4 weeks when they commit to their home program.
